![]() Finally, the variable DP set-point control of a primary pump variable volume air conditioning water system in an industrial factory is used as an example to conduct a test studying 6 variable DP or constant DP control strategies, including the method proposed in this paper. Then, this paper provides definitions of the most unfavorable thermodynamic loop and online identification method and proposes a variable DP set-point optimal reset strategy based on the maximum valve position loop's optimal reset valve position domain and best valve position domain. Under design operational conditions, the referenced most unfavorable hydraulic loop only reflects the distribution of the pipe network's hydraulic characteristics, whereas under system operational conditions, the variable volume adjustment strategy should be chosen according to each user's load requirement, i.e., a most unfavorable thermodynamic loop. First, this paper analyzes the difference in the characteristics of a most unfavorable loop under air conditioning design work conditions versus under operational conditions. However, its concept and feasibility require further clarification. In mainland China, the most unfavorable loop is typically used as the reference object for variable DP set-point control in the majority of cases of variable volume air conditioning system adjustment. In optimal operation control, it is critical to use the right reference object to implement global, accurate, and online control. El trabajo aquí presentado destaca los aspectos tomados en cuenta durante la aplicación de la metodología de la identificación de sistemas en el proceso estudiado. Todos estos trabajos tienen como denominador común el uso de modelos tanto en el diseño como en la evaluación de las estrategias de control propuestas. Studies show that the dynamic process is smoothed by improved ILC and variable trajectory. Meanwhile the system can be betterly stabilized near the set-point with smallest evaluation index and the desired trajectory can be tracked with better dynamic performance. Results show that the system has the smallest overshoot and the shortest adjustment time with the fuzzy gain PD type ILC. ![]() Simulation and experimental studies are performed on traditional Proportion Integration Differentiation (PID) control, Proportion Differentiation (PD) type ILC, fuzzy gain PD type ILC and variable speed-integral PID type ILC. A mathematical model of the static pressure control loop is established, and a new desired trajectory is given to improve the system tracking performance. Improved iterative learning control (ILC) algorithm is studied to ameliorate transition processes of the static pressure reset control loop. Some processes take a long time to reach a new stable state with large overshoots. When parameter set-points reset with load, dynamic processes are excited. Variable static pressure is the main strategy for air volume adjustment in variable air volume air-conditioning system and can offer huge energy savings compared with constant air volume systems.
